These SWITCHING power supplies for TV/SAT amplifiers were created to further reduce consumption but above all to respond to the most severe and restrictive safety regulations. Used where it is necessary to power the equipment via the coaxial cable, they are equipped with overload protection, protection that intervenes in the event of high temperatures, protection against short-circuits on the secondary and a limiting circuit on the primary. The negative effects (spikes) of the conversion are filtered and the alternating residual at full load (ripple) is minimal. Particular attention was paid to the RF part in which the working band is extended to satellite frequencies. A further advantage is the protection from electromagnetic emissions through total shielding.
